Birdtail Sioux First Nation - Band 284

Birdtail Sioux Dakota Nation is located approximately 48 kilometres north of Virden and, it is centered in the heart of the oil and gas and agriculture sector of Manitoba. As of June 2014 the total registered population is 844 persons of which on-reserve population is 480 persons. The on-reserve population consists of 242 males and 238 are females. The community language is Dakota.
Birdtail (BT) Detachment is located at Unit # 4003 main road at the Birdtail Sioux First Nation. It is east of the Birdtail Church. You can reach the detachment at:

Canupawakpa Dakota Nation - Band 289

Canupawakpa Dakota Nation is proximate to Brandon and it is about 30 kilometres from Pipestone. Its territory covers agricultural land and, it is located near to the oil and gas activity that is centered in the Virden area. As of June 2014, the registered population of Canupawakpa Dakota Nation was 669 persons. Of this total, 328 persons live on the reserve of these 166 persons are male and 162 are female. The community language is Dakota.
Canupawakpa (CD) Detachment is located at Unit # 4030 main road at the Canupawakpa Dakota Nation. It is on the south side of the Band Complex building, south of the CFS offices. You can reach the detachment at:

Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation is located 20 kilometres from the United States border, and 104 kilometres south of Winnipeg, Manitoba and consists of two parts- Roseau River 2A, the main reserve, is at the junction of the Red and Roseau Rivers, with another portion, Roseau River 2A (Roseau Rapids), located on the escarpment 20 miles east of the main reserve. As of June 2014, the total registered population of Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation was 2530 of which those residing on the reserve total 1153 persons. The on-reserve population consists of 608 males and 545 females. The community language is Ojibway.
Roseau River (RR) Detachment is located on Hwy 201, going East from Hwy 75 in Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation. Building #1 – Lot 17 & 18. It is located over the new bridge, directly east.

Long Plain First Nation is located 25 kilometres southwest of Portage La Prairie. Long Plain also has land adjacent to Trans Canada Highway # 1- just outside of Portage La Prairie. On this property houses Long Plain Arrowhead Development Corporation, Offices of DOTC and other organizations. As of December 2015, the total registered population of Long Plain First Nation was 4290 persons, of which 2251 resided on the reserve and 2039 persons lived elsewhere. The community language is Ojibway.
Long Plain (LP) Detachment is located at Unit # 143 Yellowquill Trail East on the Long Plain First Nation. It is located off Hwy 305, directly on the main access road heading West. You can reach the detachment at:

Sandy Bay First Nation is about 93 kilometres northwest of Portage la Prairie and, 178 kilometres from the City of Winnipeg. Located on the shores of the Lake Manitoba, its territory covers prime agricultural land. As of June 2014, the total registered population is 6275 persons, of which 3875 reside on the reserve itself. The on-reserve consists of 2039 males and 1836 female persons. The community language is Ojibway.
Sandy Bay (SB) Detachment is located at Unit # 245-1 main road at the Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation. It is located east of the Community Complex and behind Sandy Bay Radio Station. You can reach the detachment at:

Waywayseecappo First Nation - Band 285

Waywayseecapo Nation is located 35 kilometres east of Russell and only 4 kilometers west of Rossburn. As of June 2014, the total registered population is 2614 persons of which those residing on the reserve total 1506 persons. The on-reserve population consists of 745 males and 761 are female persons. The community language is Ojibway.
Waywayseecappo (WW) Detachment is located at Unit # 5525, along Waywayseecappo business lane on the Waywayseecappo First Nation. It is located off Hwy 45. You can reach the detachment at:
