Police Seek Public Information after Body Found in Red River.

On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) were called after human remains were discovered in the Red River, east of Roseau River First Nation.

The remains have been identified as Reuban Gabriel Atkinson, a member of the Roseau River community.

The MFNPS Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and are seeking the public’s assistance.
