Male Stabbed in Roseau River First Nation

Roseau River First Nation: On February 21, 2024 just before 7:00 p.m., officers attended to an address in the C200 block of Roseau River First Nation in regards to an assault complaint.


Upon arrival officers located a 34-year-old male victim from the community who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was airlifted by Stars in critical condition to the Health Science Center in Winnipeg. His condition was later upgraded to stable.


Cory Littlejohn, 19-years-old, from Roseau River First Nation was arrested at the scene and charged with:

·       Aggravated assault

·       Assault with weapon

·       Possess weapon for dangerous purpose


Littlejohn was remanded into custody for a future court date.
