Opaskwayak Cree Nation

On September 28, 2025, Manitoba First Nations Police and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to an ATV rollover in the Big Eddy Settlement. Two children, aged 7 and 8, sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure. Both youths were not wearing helmets or any other safety gear.

MFNPS would like to remind everyone of the importance in wearing safety equipment while operating any off-road vehicle including ATV’s, Snowmobiles, and side-by-sides. Be safe - Ride Safe!
