Police Investigate Aggravated Assault in Sandy Bay First Nation

 On July 31, 2025, just after 6:00 pm Manitoba First Nations Police Service officers received a report of a male suffering from stab wounds at a residence. Members attended and located a 38-year-old male with multiple stab wounds.


Officers immediately began providing life saving measures to the male. EMS and STARS air ambulance attended, and the male was transported to Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre. His condition has been upgraded to stable.



Police continue to investigate and are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in this incident.
