Male arrested with home-made edged weapon

 On November 15, 2025, at approximately 12:30 pm Manitoba First Nations Police Service officers were contacted by a local business advising that an intoxicated male was passed out inside of the establishment.


While police were on route, the business called back and stated that the male had a large machete and had now left on foot towards a school.


Officers immediately located the male in the area. When advised that he was under arrest, he fled on foot but was arrested after a short foot pursuit. Police located a home-made edged weapon concealed on his person.   


Fabian Patchinose, 23, of Easterville, was remanded into custody with the following charges:



-         Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

-         Carry a concealed weapon

-         Resist / obstruct a Peace Officer

-         Fail to comply with a probation order
