Sandy Bay Aggravated Assault Suspects

On December 28, 2023 just before 7:00 PM, officers received a phone call about a male who had been was assaulted in the 100 block of Townsite Bay.


Upon arrival officers met with an adult male victim who related 3 adult suspects attended to his residence and demanded money. The suspects entered his residence and began assaulting him. During the assault one suspect produced a knife and attempted to stab the victim.


The victim received a laceration to his hand. The suspects robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of money and fled the residence. The victim was transported to hospital to have his injury treated.


Warrants for arrest have been issued for the 3 suspects:


Salita Jean Beaulieu, 27 year old female from Sandy Bay First Nation is wanted for Robbery with a weapon and Aggravated Assault.


Ambrielle Angel Beaulieu, 21 year old female from Sandy Bay First Nation is wanted for Robbery with a weapon. 


Landon Dwayne Desmarais, 18 year old male from Sandy Bay First Nation is wanted for Robbery with a weapon. No photo available for Landon Desmarais at this time.


Police continue to investigate this incident. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

In 2025, we began a systematic deployment of this important technology one detachment at a time. The MFNPS utilizes this technology in a way that reflects our values and priorities. Training has been provided to officers to ensure responsible and effective use, aligned with best practices and the highest standards of policing.
